We realize that building a home is one of the largest investments you will make, both financially and emotionally. We firmly believe your home should be a reflection of you – your personality, your values, your lifestyle. To accomplish that, our home building process begins and ends with listening.
Planning & Design
We will begin by discussing your ideas, goals and budget, working to better understand who you are and what you want in your new home. We will review any plans or pictures that you already have. We will walk your lot together to determine how it might impact the design of your home, or assist you with finding the perfect lot for your home. After creating the preliminary floor plans and reviewing them with you, we will make modifications and prepare the exterior elevations. During this phase, the goal is to communicate well to ensure that we are in alignment as the process advances. If you happen to already have your plans, we are more than happy to work with them also.
Selection & Pricing
We may spend more time at this phase than most builders, but we do this to minimize surprises and unexpected price overages during construction. We want to provide you with the most accurate pricing possible, which requires that finish items (e.g., cabinetry, flooring, appliances) are selected in advance, if possible. Along the way, we will assist with scheduling appointments, choosing suppliers, and meeting with subcontractors, as needed.

Construction
Once the plans are complete, pricing is approved, and contract is signed, we will be ready for the most exciting part: construction. Jeff and his team will personally walk you through the entire homebuilding process, steep-by-step. You are always welcome to participate in the process to whatever degree you wish, meeting Jeff on the jobsite or just stopping in periodically as time allows. When you go through any of our homes, you will quickly see the quality construction and attention to finish details. What you might not notice is the attention to detail behind the walls, such as the structural aspects of the home and thermal efficiency. Although these items may not be visible, they make a difference in providing you with a more comfortable, efficient, and maintenance-free home that will stand the test of time.
Warranty & Beyond
Ensuring your continued satisfaction and enjoyment of your new dream home, is our first priority. After you have had a chance to live in the house for a while, we will do a follow up walkthrough/punch list to take care of any items that may have come up. We will do an additional follow up after your first year in the house. Regardless of how long our clients have been in their home, we still encourage them to give us a call if they have any issues that come up.
